All'inizio è una tappa imprescindibile di gite scolastiche e/o vacanze con i genitori. Quando poi, si comincia a a immettere un po' di materia grigia nei nostri cervelli e magari a viaggiare da soli, si scopre il vero piacere di camminare meravigliati per stanze colme di arte e passione.
Se poi vogliamo essere un po' realisti, la calda atmosfera del museo è perfetta per i pomeriggi più gelidi!
Dato che New York mi ha voluta stupire con questo freddo estremo...io l'ho ripagata fiondandomi al Met e al Guggenheim.
Parlando di budjet è utile sapere che al Metropolitan Museum, l'entrata è sempre e comunque "Pay what you wish". Quando si entra, infatti si potrebbe rimanere confusi perchè alla biglietteria vedrete una lista di prezzi, ma quelli sono solo i prezzi consigliati in base alle categorie studenti, adulti e pensionati. Una volta detto il numero di biglietti che vi occorre, vi verrà chiesto quanto volete pagare, per cui dovrete dire il vostro prezzo. Ovviamente tutto dipende dalle vostre finanze e dal vostro amore per l'arte o no.
Al MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) invece, l'entrata senza pagare il biglietto è il venerdì dalle 16 alle 20. Aspettatevi pure tanta fila e confusione, non il massimo della pace dei sensi, ma ne vale la pena.
Ad ogni modo, solo io sono infastidita da quelli che fanno foto a tutte e dico tutte le opere d'arte/sculture/installazioni nei musei? Per Bacco, vai su google! Volendo trovi le relative immagini e sicuramente in risoluzioni migliori. Detto ciò, vi lascio qualche foto di quelle opere che mi hanno colpito di più :D !

Going at the museum is one of that thing that changes over the years. At the beginning is a necessary stop for school trips or family vacations. Then, when we start to put some grey matter in our brain and also start traveling by our own, we can discover the real pleasure of walking into beautiful rooms full of art and passion.
If we want to be honest, the warm atmosphere of a museum is perfect for those freezing afternoons too!
Because New York surprised me with a special polar weather, I went to the Met and the MoMA.
Speaking about budget, it will be useful to know that Metropolitan Museum has the "Pay what you wish" rule 7 days a week. This means, that even if at the ticket office there will be prices divided by categories, you will be asked how much you want to pay. Everything is up to you, depending on your finances and passion for art.
Unlike the Met, at the MoMa, you can enter without paying any ticket, so absolutely free, every Friday from 4pm till 8pm. Expect confusion and crowded rooms, but it's worthwhile.
Anyway is just me, or are you also annoyed by those people who take pictures of every artwork? I mean, with google you can have every single picture and probably with better resolution.
